Yup. Places like Texas especially. Here in So Cal, we're always in drought mode most years. Perhaps if they'd stop building there would be sufficient water but the powers being rather take it from the agriculture (farmers) so they can build new housing projects.

We've had a hotter than average summer here in Phoenix, AZ, and fairly dry, until just recently. The monsoon finally showed up but we're not getting rain almost daily by any means! The rain is nice and the storms are almost a novelty anymore, but the downside is that the weeds grow like crazy, then I have to go out and pull weeds in heat and humidity, LOL! Many times I chose to paint, instead!

Hi there dear Weather friends........ It is 71 degrees , Rainy and a bit muggy. I will not complain, the ground needs the rain.......I'm hoping it will continue for a few days. Time will tell.

good morning RQ and everyone else that has been following our weather reports. Today in NY it is rather cool and quite lovely, It is sunny out today but no humidity. just crisp light air. It is going to be a beautiful day so i'm going to work in my flower garden. Enjoy your day all.

I have nothing to gripe about this weather. Although it was a beautiful crisp day. no humidity at all or very low which made no difference.The last few days have been a blessing for all of us that have smoked. Temp @6:00 PM........79 degrees

I'm starting to think it is safe to say our hot hot weather is over and we are approaching Fall. The trees are starting to turn color so that is a good indicator that fall is on the way. It looks like another cooler day here in the Finger Lakes. ...Temp @ 10:27 AM 70 Degrees with slight breeze

We have not gotten a lot of rain R.Q we did get a thunder storm last evening. lasted about an hour or so. The ground here needed it so badly. Cool day again today. .........TEmp 66 degrees.

I spoke to soon. About an hour or so after i posted .........it started to rain............It rained hard all day and into the wee hours of this morning. the ground is still wet so i would not be surprised if it rained today as well. Not complaining ......we needed this rain. Temp today...56 degrees
