This is outstanding. A venue for my images that would normally be prohibited in the Fine Art arena. Will you be adding more capabilities soon, like the ability to edit image information after it's uploaded, move images between private galleries, have multiple galleries with naming capabilities of each gallery, ability to change the passcode from time to time, etc.

Kudos AW! You are really working to make this a great site above all others. I commend you.

Dear AW... THANKS FOR THESE PRIVATE GALLERIES... I DO USE IT... AND ITS VERY IMPORTANT. I wish to know, if there's a possibility to EDIT THE TEXT in the Private galleries... Since sometimes i wish to change the text, or even delete the text, and wish the photo to stay at the private gallery.. how do i do this...?... Thanks in advance for the reply.

Nira,

We actually don't have the ability to edit the text right now. This is something we will have our designers look into doing in the future. You can however, delete an image and re-upload it.

We are always happy to hear improvement suggestions from our members.

Dear AW Staff again thank you.. i hope that you will consider this option of editing the text in the private gallery. if i have high resoloution images there, and i wrote in a different langauge then english... and now, i wish the text in english... to download again all those images, will take many days. SO..ITS IMPORTANT, At least to me.. also, not enough text... i think it would be best no limited text also.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ another thing DIFFERENT... Perhaps its not the right place to write about but.. e.cards, i use a lot of AW e.cards, other members as well.. NOW, With the changes, it does not work well, the text is NOT SEEN. Today i recive e.card from AW member without the text, personally i also tried to send, as i checked it, it was without text.. SO, IT WAS TRULY FINE... Please solve this... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ art watch ?... a lot of problems lately... what is happening ? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ and i'm still hoping to see backgrounds.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks a lot............ hi Ive uploaded some pics to a private gallerey, I would like to change the password for the private viewer is this now possible? Also I would like my client to be able to buy any pics from this gallerey, when will this option be available please thanks

At this time, there is not an option to rename private galleries or to sell artwork from them. However, these are both options that we are working on for 2009. We don't have an exact ETA for this, but they will be options in the near future.

Hello AW I just started with you guys and this website looks good. I've been looking around on the web to sell pics and you guys have a good community of people. I love the private gallery idea. But We cant sell from in there is a bummer. On your message board back 3/30/2009 it says that you guys were working on the options : to rename private galleries and also selling from in there. It does also say that you guys dont have an exact ETA on that. All I can say is I hope your Tech people can fix this soon. Nice website keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comments Thomas. We are glad you are enjoying our website. We do have a big list of requests from our members to make the site even better. Private gallery upgrades is something that is requested from time to time and something that we hope to have completed by the end of the year.

This Pvt gallery is one of the options which swayed me into becoming a premium member, however, is there away to make it possible so photos with pvt gallery are purchasable and so clients can make comments on the photos while viewing the photos while viewing them with in pvt galleries?

Jose, there is not currently a way to edit an image in a private gallery.

You just need to re-upload an image to your private gallery and delete the original image that you wanted to change.
