i choose a picture from the daily download ......... I then choose it for my favorites....After doing that i choose to put it in the sher's pics of the day...... of all the times i have done this.........my choice has gotten there once.... I have picked a choice everyday since you installed this new area to your site. Can't this be make more simple than it is? like up on the heading where you have browse....have Sher's Picks . Besides i feel her name should be somewhere very noticable for all that have no idea who she was. This is in memory of a remakable woman that helped all that asked. She was the first Artist that took the time to welcome me and comment on my work. She took the time to make me feel my art was very good, and yes, i did have talent. AW, you had one of a kind here in Sher...... She was remarkable person

Yes, I think it should have her name. Strange though Martha, that your picks are not going through, I like you, pick one every day and all my choices go through, but I also find it very easy to do. So wondering why it is going wrong for you? Ah well, something for AW to figure out I guess!

I am very disappointed that you allow any image posted on ArtWanted to be added. It should be limited to images posted on any given day, which was Sher's intent with the "Pick of the Day."

RECOMMENDATIONS

1.Which ever system you end up with.. it would be a COURTESY to let the Artist know by email that their art/image made the Pics of the Day. 'Congratulations of your image making Pic of the Day for MM/DD/YYY".....

2. Need a new and separate icon to denote that the image made the Pic of the Day on the Artists webpage ... and you could provide a direct link to the day. Just as you have for the Top 10 now...

When we add a work to 'pics of the day' gallery,it opens the same page on browser,isn't it more nice if it'll open the 'pics of the day' gallery page?

Just smelling a major upgradation for this lovely feature in near future...

I personally love this new feature. I think it's fun and interactive, and I think it's great it was started in Shers memeory and honor. In reading the posts here, I very much agree that the artits that are picked, should be notified via e-mail and/or a pic of the day icon on their page so that the actual artist who has been chosen actually knows. As far as people saying that Sher isn't mentioned enough on that actual page, I thought perhaps it would be nice to maybe include a photgraph of her on the top of the page, and a bit more info about her as well. Otherwise, great feature AW! I really like it :) - Jane Diamond -

Daisy. I think you should start a new thread on your thoughts of all that this new feature could use. then the bumpers can come in and keep it afloat.
