Yesterday August 24 we walked/run the 5K Philadelphia LIVESTRONG® Challenge.
For the third consecutive year, the 5K Run/Walk and 10, 40, 70 and 100-mile rides raised money and awareness to inspire and empower the nearly 12 million Americans living with cancer.
My daughter set up her personal fundraising webpage to honor her Grandmother, who is battling lung Cancer. She raised $1000.- (total that day 3 million $$ )
The LIVESTRONG Challenge is inspired by the hope, courage and perseverance of Lance Armstrong. And like him, we believe we can do more together.
It was a very powerful walk, which made everybody realize: CARPE DIEM!

I've been painting getting ready for a show in a week.
Armando I'm thinking when your little assitants start to be more than a handful you can't get rid of the little calico. She is going to be just too cute and she will be almost the best cat you ever will have. Just my opinion.

I think I mentioned awhile back that I have been out shooting the surrounding area here, so I can get some of my work put into a restaurant.. this has kept me rather busy and not here so much.
I love your tiny pencil pushers... I think its time to strap on some colored pencils and see what your little crew can create, who knows could be like those elephants that paint!!

Perhaps the fortune was materialized by alignment of those images:-))) No other way since I already don't remember the last time I got a Lottery premium. We also use to say: "Desafortunado en el juego, afortunado en amores". Quizá hay por ahí una guadalupita que se muere por mi :-))))))
