what happens with those contest date? they say will finish in certain date, but still open. I wonder if am i seeing display wrong, have some kind of illusion or the artwanted doesn't really care of what they doing.

A contest for original work only not copied from a photo. It must be drawn or painted from life either from a model, set up or plein air....

How about a texture contest. Let us show how skillful we artist are by drawing rough textures such as: tree bark, various types of nuts, anything that has a rough texture and we can sense the feel of it with our eyes.

The contest theme should be, that you have to create a piece of work that expresses a song. Like smoothes lines of paint would be some piece from bach. O a splattered piece of work and mumbo-jumbo could be some song from some rock band. Anyway, that's what I think the contest should be about.
