...."TERRY, I'm Dutch, but living in the States since 11 years as a legal alien on a green card as well. We got "stuck" here, since the kids didn't want to leave the States. We're not planning on getting our citizenship, since then you have to give up your passport (nationality). There's no dual citizenship possible with the Netherlands unfortunately. We're not able to vote, though we pay our taxes here... "....

Me too Olga.. permanent green card.. I've been here since 2003 and although I could go for dual citizenship I don't plan to do it as I don't see any great advantage other than being able to vote. lol.. plus I can't be bothered with jumping through any more hoops..:-)

Two days ago I got a phone call from cartoonist Xaquín Marín, director of the Museum of Humor at Fene (Spain). Museum will publish a book about Galician cartoonists. Subject: agriculture.

He asked for a short bio, a selfportrait and one cartoon.

There's info in my blog about my "outfit" and Museum.

Just to let you know the selfportrait and cartoon I made for the book.

I can't believe this thread.. Armando must be in cahoots with the energizer bunny!!

I snicker at all the cartoons and Armando laden images.. lol.

Into the far reaches of the planet.. goes this thread.

Armando, Minnie, Anneke and Olga and anyone else I left out, that has translated or created a video, group images and whatnot.. this has been such a fantastic journey. I have learned far more here then I have in any school or seminar. I THANK YOU all for this amazing time in my life.

Minnie.. I too would love a english version of the news :D Thanks!!!
