Sorry but I guess you understand I havn't looked if anyone but me has made this suggestion. Much modern art, Pop Art ,Murals, paintimgs, are made around StreetArt themes. StreetAre motivs, has a StreetArt aproach, -- so why not a StreetArt contest

Do not know if there are Street artists enough here, but I do not fancy the "find the most spetacular Grafitti piece and post a digital foto even you didn't make it", I am talking about StreetArt on same terms as the other contest issues, what I mean is that StreetArt seriously made it's voice clear moving speedly the past few years, and is progressing into new exiting directions, --- just difficult when you work serious with it yourself, as often everything is confused into the same thing -- Grafitti, even everyone painting either Grafitti or StreetArt know the difference.

So I suggest a not Grafitti, but StreetArt contest, Grafitti had plenty contests but today's StreetArt had very few.

Wouldn't it be good to have a contest for each medium to run each week. That way all artists could have a chance to enter more often. It has been weeks since I've had the medium or subject to present and I paint in oil, pastel, acrylic and mixed media.

How about double, back to back (2) contest(s) with the theme being sunsets, with each one emphasizing light reflecting off of water.

One for paintings, while the other for photographs?

I'd like to see a contest based on actual dreams people have had. It'd be nice to see what odd things come out of it.

That, or a cartoon contest, God/Goddess contest etc.

How about the word 'Control', people should be able to run with that, or how about 'Wacky Weather' for photographers? Or 'Balance' a flexible word, a topic that can be used by anyone. Hope this helps... :o)

have two or three contest in one month at the same time so more veriaty of artist could compete, see lots of contest consisting of photography or mixed media.mix it up a little
