What is going on AW??? There hasn't been a contest in months, and you clearly state there should be multiple contests very single month. Are you asleep out there? There have been numerous posts pointing out many AW members are disappointed and getting disenchanted with the contest section on this website (and hence with Art Wanted itself). You better wake up, or there may be a mass exodus of artists leaving this site.

Maybe a contest about the old west...why we are America...a nation....perhaps combining patriotism and early America? More than just a couple contests to choose from would be nice. Variety is the spice of life.

A macro drawing contest always appealed to me. Traditional mediums such as paints, pastels and pencils preferably.

I guess for those people that are desperate for a contest while ArtWanted aren't running any then maybe some members could get together and run one themselves.

I propose that each artist present an original work that they have created, using traditional techniques and art materials, that they do not believe to be a work of art. The criteria for judging would be to give the most points to those who have succeeded in creating something that is not artistic.
