Congratulations AW !! What bothers me is the colour use of the selection of the portfolio, I'm sorry to say so. It seems like , one of those automatic model, into, inside the portfolio goes... If you build by yourself your own web site, for example, if you know what I mean.. there are a lot of ready made web - site, in chosen colours, as chosen lay outs. Now, this GREY Colour, you chose, personally I don't like it at all, since I find it a masculine, male choice of colour. The Blue, and Green.. It's FINE, FOR ME and wonderful.. But, with the GREY... Sorry... I truly don't like it. My portfolio should represent ME, Inside my portfolio. SO... It's like uniform to ALL of us... OK.. But, I would prefer a different shade for the background - Even a shade Of Blue ultramarine dark... or VERY pastel pale Blue. Colour checks must be done... there are many ways to solve it better to my opinion. It seems to me TOO STRONG contrast between the CLEAN WHITE, That I very much love as the background of my portfolio, to this kind of GREY. I see myself as an expert in colour... REALLY, Not only because of 4 years comments here, BUT, I know who I am... I SAY ONCE MORE..The Grey background is NOT SUITABLE for me. It's too formal, for ART - SITE. There are 2 possibilities as I see it now.. First : let us choose the colour of background, each according to his/her taste... OR, If you chose a UNIFORM, To unite us ALL.. At least let us vote for a colour.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR LISTENING.. I HOPE THAT YOU'LL CHANGE IT, FOR ME, IT VERY IMPORTANT...THE COLOURS MUST BE FRIENDLY TO WHAT MY EYES SEE AS I GET UP IN THE MORNING, VISIT MANY TIMES A DAY, AND GO TO SLEEP WITH... BEST OF LUCK, Nira.

I use Mozilla for MAC and none of the formatting is laid out correctly for Mozilla. I have to use Safari (that I hate!) to view my portfolio. It doesn't even show up in Mozilla. Is this something that will be addressed any time soon or should I just stop coming here?

I posted this with Safari and it will not even post!!

Another MOST IMPORTANT Thing... Now , as I wrote an reply artist, the choice of font,or size of it.. not sure, or both, was not clear.. I almost could not read what I was writing, before posting the reply. Not sure what you changed there, but, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT ! Because, I must see what I write, sometimes I have mistakes and must fix it.. IT WAS NOT READABLE, BEFORE I POST IT. AGAIN.. THANK YOU SO MUCH , IN ADVANCE.. !

Leigh Karchner 15 Jul 2008

Well, now I see that my posted went through 3 times but for some reason, page two wasn't even showing at the time I made the post??????

ANOTHER THING... I don't understand, how until now, there's not a real GOOD possibility of editing the text - the info of image. what i mean, if i wish to start a new line, and starting a new line.. in the info.. it is NOT SEEN. As if I write it without starting a new line. At message boards... spaces between lines can be seen, as well as starting new line, WHY.. In the info of an artwork, the text build in a different way ?... WHY..?

Nira Dabush 15 Jul 2008

AND... YES... ANOTHER THING.. At the private galleries, I WOULD PREFER UNLIMITED Text... I sometimes wrote a text, and it was cut and NOT SEEN. it must be unlimited, like any other image I post. And, also, if i have a mistake in the text of the private galleries, i must have the choice to fix it. to reEDIT.. To write it again.. THIS SEEMS TO ME VERY SIMPLE TO DO... AND VERY BASIC. again THANK YOU !!

well the new graphics are big and colorful. makes me think of little kids images though..but i guess that is considered user-friendly. the layout isnt that different at all..just the table fields have shadowed and rounded edges. i tried doing a search in the shopping area for one of my own images. i tested it using the word "horse" in all catagories. i have an image titles Horses-Alone.. it didnt even come up on the search..so that didnt impress me much. ..i guess i was expecting a huge difference in layout and design but to me the different isnt that big at all. ...i do however like having the image discription under the image and not to the side and then the sale options under that. you would be amazed at how many people have been to my site several times and had no clue you could buy the art. ..so hopefully this helps with sales. ... i know this was a lot of work, so congrads on getting it launched. :)

susan :)

Dear Minerva, thanks for your reply. As far as I checked the members area, I didn't find the option of using my own background.. I already checked this few times today. I hope, to find this option, once more. About the spaces, I also thank you for the advice. You know there are other sites, in which you simply type, no need to use HTML Or any other symbols. I think, editing must be VERY EASY, TO USE.. Now I'll try also this suggestion of yours for spaces. < br >

SHALOM, For now :-)

Nira Dabush 15 Jul 2008

Here by the way the HTML ,is not working.. thanks again ! NO < br > here :-))

joan warburton 15 Jul 2008

I found it. It's all the way at the bottom of the page. Thanks.

Most of us will have to upload a new self portrait. The space allotted is cut in half.

Oh oh... here comes the bugs.

I joined Animal Connection, great addition, but I tried to upload a pic to the group, on the upload page it says I don't belong to any groups and the upload goes into my portfolio, so I guess I am confused about how this groups thing works, aside from knowing I can create or join one.

AW STAFF: Pamela - this bug has been fixed, you will now see a drop down list of all the groups you belong to on the upload page.

I love it! I'm glad to see everyone else does too. It's rare that a community embraces change so well. Yay AW!

Pat Abbott 15 Jul 2008

Great changes, love the new look and options! Especially like the option to add images to our blogs. Thanks!
