one cant go far in life with out seeing something "offensive"...what does this mean really?...is this a painful experience?..what if suddenly bunny rabbits and butterflies were offensive material...its just as common as anything else

I am a firm believer that art (written or visual) should not be censored. Your art is your creation. You wouldn't change or hide your child in order to meet someone else's standards nor should you change or hide your art. You can never please everyone and if you try you may lose yourself in the process. Always be true to yourself and your art.

Steph, I didn't find your image offensive at all. I don't mind nudes at all as long as they are artistically done. The problem with nudes is that not everyone is meant to be an artist of nudes.... by this I mean that some artistry is just vulgar and has no art behind it, it is just an expression of an sex starved individual. Yet on the other hand, I've seen nudes from John E. and Sher R. and they are beautifully done enhancing and promoting the human body as it should be. If there are kids on this site, it would bug me that they could come across inappropriate stuff. Enough said.

..Oh yes John, SAMO couldn't agree with you more..a cultural theme world-wide who's offended the dead? again an age OLD issue...PEACE AND ART..let's keep painting naked people..

What's worse? Nude art, or modern day rap music?

Stephen Gray 31 Jan 2005

Damn! Ya'll took this discussion in a direction it wasn't even initially about, nude art? who cares about nude art? I got slammed because I'm too macabre, too scary, you know, I can be alot scarier. get ready to be offended, I don't care anymore. those who offend easily, beware.hehe

OH! I guess it is never safe to assume....

I responded to what I thought you meant, from the comment or question, What is considered offensive....

I did not know you were talking obscene and gross....

Then it depends on the subject..
