Hi Hinsel. Nicely put. I wish that I had the time to explore this area of art more, but I just have other "fish to fry" (cutthroats?) at this present time...I see "Western Visions" all the time...nothing else.

Thanks Ronnie, No problem. I wish they were my art too. Just isn't enough hours in a day.

The photo you posted would be an excellant piece to do. Matter of fact, the friend of mine that I work with at the Buffalo Bill Historic Center suggested me doing that very Native American. They have this photograph in their massive collection within their private library which I have access to.

Maybe you already know, the Native American's name is "Bear's Belly." It was taken by a famous Western Photographer, Edward S. Curtis in 1909. The bear hide is one of three bears that Bear's Belly killed.

thanks denny for the info. it helps when your drawing to know something about the subject. i actually got this pic off a native american website based in Nevada. your a real inspiration, but heres a question, who inspired you? again thanks for taking the time to answer my comments. take it easy.
