How about the contest for Easter celebration?

SPRING IS EVERYWHERE Art Paintings, Drawings, Photographic Prints that Sing of the Happy, Bright, Renewal of Life. Flowers, Trees and Plants budding in early spring. Color coming up through the snow, early blooms, Easter flowers, open trout season, deep blue skies with puffy white clouds, new borns, birth, Springtime love, playfulness and earth's sunlit creations.

I agree there should be more contests, there should never be a moment in time nothing is going on, it becomes boring waiting for the next contest, one every week would suffice to keep the interest going, and I also agree with some of the members above that there should be a category in the contest, like landscapes/portraites/cartoon/abstract/digital, Artwanted has been going long enough to support these contests, members need more to do to keep the interest alive here at Artwanted.

Hi all!

New here, so bear with me if I ramble on... the idea of "A bio-mechanical composition" sounds VERY cool, even if you're not a sci-fi geek. Imagine, ANY image, scenic,portrait, animals and draw an imaginary line loosely through the middle, now, everything on the right side is as natural and in what ever technique y'all feel comfortable with. The left side as mechanical as you can imagine. Years ago, (about the time that the first Terminator movie came out) I had to do a mural with that idea. Was it ever fun!!! In one instance, I had to create a custume for a performer to make him look mechanical. All I did was perceived all the internal aspects of the human body and pictured it with mechanical parts. Im gamed for any challenge!
