6 weeks Straight here in KC MO 100 to 109 air temp, really made for a long summer as far as waiting to do outdoor stuff... cant wait for fall now, we hope its cooler....

That's like living in the desert Bob. Our weeks weather has been frustrating the forecasters. Our high 90's to low 100's hasn't materialized as of yet. Really been a boring weather week with high 80's mainly with a few chances (never happened) of T-Storms.

The rain arrived and played with us for a few days ,one min it would be raining the next the sun shining brightly, then rain again, The good thing in this was the cooler temptures.

The temptures are back up in the low 90's high humidity.........oh so is life in upstate NY

It has been a few days since . I posted. We have beren going throughlong periods of heat and humidity.. We did luck out the last few days and they are predicting rain throughout the weekend. sparatic ,but rain nonetheless. the ground is so dry it looks like concrete. We are suppose to get rain this morning. We did have a little over night. right now we will take the rain.

The Northeast is in Wild thunderstorms ..........Rain buckets,,,,We have been getting little short spirts of rain,. but this one is a storm. It really is cooling things off. It gotup to 75 degrees today...with this storm it has dropped to 64. It feels great. it will be wonderful sleeping

Unfortunately, typical summer here in the southwest. Hot and lots of fires. Of course the drought hasn't helped the situation. Well our forecast is for a slight cooling down. Forecast for today is 98. Finally out of the 100's for the first time in a week and a half.

The whacky weather contiunes here. Hot, very humid and our neighbors in Forest Falls got hammered with flash flooding...nothing new for them. We also got hammered and then a steady rain for the next 3 hours. Weird weird weather for this time of year

We have had a string of lovely cool breezy days, These days do confirm that fall is closing in on us. Before long we will be telling all who reads this post .....how deep the snow is or how much we received the previous night.Knowing all this I have been spending as much time out side as possible. Enjoying each day to the fullest. I have been putting some serious hours tending to my flower garden. Enjoy the day friends.

We are starting our journey into the fall season. the cool mornings and evenings are a sure give away. It is getting almost to cool to sleep with the window open. I do sleep soundly but wake up very cold. It is 77 degrees right now it will go down in the 60's tonight. tomorrow back up in the 90 but temps will be on the cool side this weekend.enjoy the rest of our warm days while you can........

I'm sitting here infront of my opened window and it started to rain. The smells that tell you that fall is just around the corner were floating in. The leaves are gently falling with a slight breeze blowing. It is still 71 degrees but a beautiful late summer day. i'm loving these kind of days. enjoy yours.......

well here we are the 7th of Sept 2012. Looking out my windows to a heavy dew and fog on everything,a slight coolness in the air is telling me that summer is over. That autumn is strongly pushing it's way in place. It's 63 degrees now and it's suppose to reach 86 today. with another cool night for sleeping.enjoy your day folks.

I wish I could say that Martha. We're back to the mid 90's, chance of rain and thunder storms :(( I need to get a job as a weather forecaster....couldn't do any worse and it sure would pay better than what I'm not making now :))

LOL RQ you make me laugh. I have been have some rainmstorms. with high wind and heavy downpour. It has been raining off and on since yesterday. it has stopped for the time being,but the sky is cloudy ...i'm expecting much more.

Well we are now into the fall weather, Woke up to a 45 degree temp this morning. here at 9:45 it is still only 57 degrees. I think it is fair to say that fall is peeking around the corner. Well it is only 11 days away. so we should be getting colder tempts. .......Enjoy your day folks.

No fall here, just a forecast for 3 more days of 90's, with chance of rain and thunder storms. Today, omitting the electric bill (AC), don't really care..I'll probably spend most of the day watching football..maybe, if I can sit still that long.

Well here we are finally and truely into fall mode. The tempture got to 66 for the high and it will be going down into the 50's for the overnight temp.with a high of 73 tomorrow. I'm not complaining,This is the weather i love. Cool temps Enjoy all the beautiful colors of autumn. The leaves are turning here in the northeast. Beautiful sight to see.
