I AGREE WITH ALEX! THE ARTISTS GROUPS HAVE GONE WILD AND STILL GROWING. PRETTY SOON IT WILL BE JUST AS DIFFICULT FINDING AN ARTIST GROUP AS IT IS FINDING A PAINTING. HA! I THINK 1,000 GROUPS IS CONSERVATIVE ON ALEX'S PART. :-))))

Please, please, could you let me know if the the gif/jpeg issue will be resolved soon.

On the original artwanted it was possible to see the images on the portfolio over view - this is no longer working, so now when I send clients to the page it looks very patchy which looks bad.

please help.

I'm not sure if you are already working on this, but there is a messing up on the home page of each artists site of the menu. Also the RSS feed of many artists is not working. And: I do not see so many advantages any more in having a paid membership? Thanks, and keep up the good work!

Anne - Below is a screen shot of the website in Internet Explorer and FireFox as it should be seen. What type of computer and browser are you using to view our site? Have you increased the default text size settings to view larger text?

As for the premium membership, why should your opinion recently change, if we have only added new features for our premium members and not taken any away?

Aw, the font on the message boards is still too small. I have changed my settings several times and the edges of the Discussion Areas section are now running off into the gray background and the print is still tiny......... my old eyes, even with bifocals, can barely make out some of the text.

One more thing I've noted..... although I am consistently logged in, the page numbers on the posts on the message boards never show highlighted so I know what pages I have already read. Every page stays green unless I am already on a certain page (and then blue) but it goes away as soon as I change threads. I have to guess at where I left off from day-to-day. Anything you can do to correct this?? Time here is already limited because of the busy season...... would appreciate some feedback from others and you AW. Thanks.

ABOUT GROUPS.

I notice few people are INVADING each and every Group and not always the posted images match.

First, it was the massive comments interchange to achieve the Top Ten. Now people "hangs" his/her name on each group; looks like a kind of advertising. Undoubtedly this people doesn't read the guidelines.

I think the ADMIN might have the chance to remove people that doest'n follow the guidelines of the group. Just my opinion.

I noticed a problem by managing subgalleries.

The names of subgalleries containing

, (comma)

and

( (parenthesis)

make the subgallery looks EMPTY. (Message: "NO IMAGES FOUND")

I changed the names and it works! Now I get all my images.

--------------------------------- I hadn't this problem in the "old" AW

I use IE7 and have indeed larger lettertypes. I am on Vista. As for the advantages of premium membership: you have not taken away advantages for paid membership, but you have added advantages for free membership. This involves that anyone can now upload a lot more work. This makes that paid members are less visible and also it makes that the advantages of unpaid membership over paid membership may not be so attractive as to purchase membership any more ... Don't take that as that I do not appreciate all your improvements, because I think you have done a great job! :-)

AW STAFF: 2 THINGS.......1ST I HAVE NOT GOTTEN E-MAIL FROM AW WITH THE UPLOADS OF MY ARTWATCH MEMBERS IN 2 DAYS. WHAT'S UP???????

2ND I AGREE WITH ANNE. BECOMING A PAID MEMBER WAS MORE ATTRACTIVE WHEN THE UNPAID MEMBERS COULD ONLY UPLOAD 3 ARTWORKS A MONTH. I KNOW, SINCE THAT ONE THING IS WHAT MADE PAID MEMBERSHIP A MUST FOR ME. ANNNND ONLY THAT ONE THING. SOOOO YOU ARE DISCOURAGING UNPAID MEMBERS TO BECOME PAID MEMBERS, AND YOU ARE ENCOURAGING PAID MEMBERS TO BECOME UNPAID MEMBERS. IF THAT IS THE DIRECTION YOU WANT TO GO, THEN LET US ALLLLL BE UNPAID MEMBERS WITH THE SAME FEATURES. THE FEATURES BETWEEN THE 2 ARE NARROWING ANYWAY.

PS AW STAFF: ANNE IS ALSO RIGHT ABOUT THE NUMBER OF IMAGES EACH DAY FROM THE UNPAID MEMBERS. THE NUMBERS ARE UP BECAUSE MANY MORE IMAGES ARE BEING POSTED BY THE UNPAID MEMBERS. AND THIS DEFINITELY DECREASES THE PAID MEMBERS EXPOSURE, BECAUSE OF THE SHEER NUMBERS.

AW........STILL NO E-MAIL FROM YOU CONCERNING OUR ARTWATCH MEMBERS UPLOADS. I KNOW THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM. COMMENTS ARE BEING KILLED EVEN MORE NOW WITH NO INFO ON ARTWATCH MEMBERS POSTING ARTWORK. WHEN DO YOU THINK THIS WILL BE FIXED? I WAS PLANNING TO RELY ON THAT THIS WEEK SINCE I WILL BE UNABLE TO LOOK AT EVERYONE'S WORK.
