I have thousands of pictures to place on my blog, more information or stats to post on my sites plus some artworks to finish. I therefore don’t have time to work on others sites or message boards. I took some time out to post forty new ballpoint pen artists on this board to illustrate what can be done with a ballpoint pen. It seems some people don’t even know what kind of ink a ballpoint pen uses so actual examples have to be shown.
The ballpoint pen produces a ink line, therefore scribbles, doodles, sketches, inklings, renderings, drawings or illustrations make up our Ball Point Pen Art, BallPoint Pen Art or Ballpointpenart movement. That means all mixed mediums aren’t included or the same art form by definition!
Allan, I’m pleased to see that you brought some extra life to this thread Sir. I also noticed that your own thread is doing well. You and people like Randy are the next generation of ballpoint pen artists coming down the pike so that’s why I’m publishing so much information, stats, essays and pictures. It appears that those things can’t be found at your location or elsewhere so it seems to be up to me! Introducing a new art movement certainly takes more than some pictures and feel good words. That’s my professional opinion on the topic……………
Cheers,
Mr. Stith
Your turn. ;{
It seems that people are again attacking me around here. (freedom of speech) This time the word “bragging” is the topic. I live in a world that has genocide, war, starvation, corruption, murder, rape, abortion, maiming, fighting, droughts, poverty, sickness, disease and much more taking place yet I’m suppose to worry about my facts being spun into bragging. What is bragging? Bragging is telling others I won or did good in life….. I guess telling others that my really hard work is paying off is now wrong. In the end times good is bad and bad is good. I however really, really thank you folks for letting me reply. This is really going to be sweet, amen!
I spent forty-one years developing, introducing or doing ballpoint pen art and that is now being defined as bragging. I’m currently writing an essay on ballpoint pen art that is around fifteen thousand words long. Maybe, I’m half way through? The forth part of that essay is about doing God’s will or the Great Commission, amen. Explaining how my Ball Point Pen Art program helps carry out the Great Commission is being laid out clearly in that particular section. (I realize some people don’t believe in God. Try another thread!)
I do lots of praying, bible research, sermon lessening or thinking about God’s Kingdom therefore I have this to say. I’m producing art history, have world records and God’s favor, amen.
FAVOR OF GOD: In the name of Jesus, I am the righteousness of God; therefore I am entitled to covenant kindness and favor. The favor of God is among the righteous. His favor surrounds the righteous; therefore, it surrounds me. I expect the favor of God to be in manifestation everywhere I go and in everything I do. Never again will I be without the favor of God.
Satan, my days in Lodebar cease today. I am leaving that place of lack and want. I am going from the pit to the palace because the favor of God rests richly on me and profusely abounds in me. I am part of that generation that will experience the immeasurable, limitless and unsurpassed favor of God. This will produce in my life supernatural increase, promotion, prominence, preferential treatment, restoration, honor, increased assets, great victories, recognition, petitions, granted policies and rules changed on my behalf and battles won that I don’t have to fight. The favor of God is upon me; it goes before me, and therefore, my life will never be the same.

Mr. Jerry Stith
I am not here to preach to you or anyone else, but what I am here for is to try to let you know how pitiful it looks for you to grovel for respect as an artist. You sound so desperate to be the "king" of this and that.
You brag about your site, but as I look at it, for instance, you have had your videos posted, one since October of last year, one since February of this year with absolutely no comments. One thing that I see would help you with this, would be to make ArtWanted and Google work for you. I would start by asking ArtWanted to change your account name to "Jerry Stith" and not "Jerry." Do you know how many "Jerrys" there are in the Google listings? Be smart!
What are your "key search words" for your personal website? The reason I ask is because, these are paramount for the Google, Yahoo and Bing "spiders" to find you. For instance, the key words for my personal website and our store website are "Western Art" and "Western Decor." If you look at my bios or anyone of my pieces of art that are on my sites here on ArtWanted, you will see that I have "live links" back to each site with those key words as the live link. These links are what will drive you up in those search engines. We probably have 300-400 live links.
For several years, I could not even find my "karchnerwesternart.com" site in a Google search. The key words "western art" is one of the hardest things to drive you to the top page. The reason being is, there are 80,300,000 listing with those key words!! I have managed to find myself floating between page one and two just in the last couple of months because of all these links I have added to my art portfolios that I have posted on the many, many art sites on the internet. Our "buffalotraderonline.com" site was just launched back in February of this year, but using these methods(which are legal) has climbed to page one of Google using the key words "western decor" and floating between page one and two using the "western art" key words. Do you know this Jerry? 60% of all internet sales are made from the top three listings on Google and the other 40% sales go to all others below that. I see there are 1,650,000 listings for the key search words "ballpoint pen." This is why you need to do all you can to reach page one of the major search engines.
Here is a screen shot of the codes that I paste into each one of my bios, my individual pieces of art, etc. I would place the code here in the write-up, but it will not work because ArtWanted does not allow "html" in their posts anymore. The bottom set of codes works on ArtWanted. The top set of codes works on sites like RedBubble.com" that does not accept the "html" format. Where my "key search" words are, place your key search words and put your website where my mine is and leave the rest of the code. I guarantee this will work.
Whether you are selling or just want the exposure, I highly recommend that you do what you can to drive yourself to the top of the search engines instead of wasting your time "blowing your horn" here on this post which is not yours. Knowing you as long as I have, I know you will have a smart answer, or "yeah, I know that" or one of your Bible verses for me, again I am trying to show you that I am not the enemy but a fellow artist that wants to help you and anyone else here that is trying to make it in these "tough times."
By the way, I would also highly recommend getting that account name changed to your "real name", start another post, titling it "Ballpoint Something" and I will also guarantee that it will float to the top of Google in a couple of days. With you having me blocked, you won't have to worry about me posting on "your" post. Just remember, be a nice guy and do "your thing" and make it work for you and your "holy grail" of being the "True King of the Ballpoint Pen!"
Good luck and God Bless you, Jerry.
Humbly yours,
Denny Karchner
Shouldn't you let your art speak for itself rather than quoting the bible and preaching, Jerry? If anything, your constant preaching and self-proclaimed greatness is driving people away from wanting to look at your work or website. I didn't come here to read post after post of how many artists you know, how great your website is, the history of a ball-point pen or to read exerpts from the bible but rather came here to enjoy looking at drawings of actual ballpoint pen artists. Actions speak louder than words, Jerry.
Also, I'm not sure that people would take kindly to me going on and on about why I'm an atheist or the issues that I have with religion in general, would they? Afterall, the intention of this thread is ballpoint pen art and nothing else and in my opinion it should stay that way rather than becoming a soapbox for you to express your religious views and to tell the world how apparently great you are.
Don't get me wrong, I have no issue if you or anyone else is religious, that's your choice and I respect that but there's a time and a place for you to get your message across and I don't feel this is the time or the place. Try a church.
Welcome back Randy! I would like to compliment you for doing a great job on your new ballpoint pen drawing. Your thread is now one of the most active or viewed here at ArtWanted.com. I see you’re losing interest in the Ball Point Pen Art movement. Please remember, that will never happen to me Sir!
Hopefully you’ll find happy trails within the commercial art sector of society. The commercial sector is highly competitive, very demanding plus pays well. In the USA our commercial art sector brings in more revenue than the Oil Industry!
Your competitors will take no prisoners my man……..
Cheers, Stith
I’m not here to demonize, attack or abuse others. I’m a portrait artists or person that loves to draw outside or in the public. I therefore have thousands of sketches, doodles, inklings, renderings, drawings or illustrations completed outdoors. Such activities took place over a thirty year time period therefore countless thousands of people came up to see what I was doing. That means I’m very, very familiar with what people have to say about me or my artworks.
I’ve had more negativity, attacks or abuse directed at me in this thread than all of those years in the public. It seems that people can agree to dis-agree or edify each other in the process of communicating. What do you think? I’ve provided more ballpoint pen art pictures, information, stats, facts or related materials than all others at this thread which means I’m sticking to the topic. I like to address topics or issue’s because that’s what I’m encountering as a commercial or fine artists. I’ll remind people that I’m a military brat among many other things.
We live in the most capitalistic country or society in history therefore knowing advertising, sales, marketing, promotions, public relations or publishing is very important to some of us my friends. The commercial, industrial, publishing or business sectors are exceptionally competitive therefore very difficult or political. That’s because money is the milk of politics. Some people would sell out their mother or friends for a buck therefore lots of money can produce much aggression.
In the old days people didn’t have the internet or World Wide Web. That meant most people paid other people to promote themselves, their products or services, correct! People then would say, If you talk about or promote yourself you’re quote “bragging”. Does that mean facts, our testimony, past actions, reality or the truth doesn’t count if you bring it up? If I pay another commercial artist to write up my quote “brag sheet” does it then become a promotional item? If I talk about myself in the third party and use a pen name is that then a promotional material?
I’m personally a publisher that is documenting, recording, archiving or producing ballpoint pen art history at my sites, on a blog or at other places throughout the WWW. Part of those materials include me or my contributions to that art movement. Objectivity certainly places a major role within those findings because facts, stats, proof or details are what make up history. Those publications or writing certainly haven’t been altered because of a few people look at words differently.
I always thought bragging was when a person told others how great they are at the expense of others. (I’m great therefore you’re a complete loser or dirt bag kind of talking stands out to me as bragging!) In the bible, God says, that he wishes the very best for His children. I therefore have a difficult time thinking that talking about your gifts, favor, blessings or wisdom would be considered evil like it is being suggested. Let’s take a look at the commercial art department, sector, business or it’s practices.
The USA has the greatest free enterprise or capitalistic economical system in history. Our country’s economy has elevated the entire human race from it’s conception through business, grants, loans, charity or churches. The commercial artists totally control, run, operate or dominate the entire business structure unlike the weak fine art community or district. The fine artists most often totally reject the commercial artist’s practices, ethics, styles, techniques, tools, machines or equipment which in turn brings them despair, division, weakness or failures politically and socially.
Every successful commercial artists in my opinion sales themselves as properly as they do their client’s product, service or program. They describe their people, products, services or programs as being the most superb, exquisite, eloquent, spectacular or gracious thing there are on the planet earth! Hopefully what they’re stating is factual, correct or true because if it’s not they’ll get shot to the curb future on down the road. Needless to stay that will bring on severe problems or failures.
I’ve been on the WWW for a pretty long time my friends and never has my claims, facts, stats or statements been proven fraudulent. During that time researching the ballpoint pen art movement has been an ongoing chore of mine. That’s why I can safely make my claims or take the stance I’m holding. If you disagree with my words hard core facts, evidence, proof or statistics need to be presented to me in public to substantiate your dispute. That’s the way the real world, our court or legal system works my friends.
I’ve been publishing Ball Point Pen Art history on the Web for the past nine years without your permission therefore simple suggestions of protest won’t alter my first decades adventures. My parents taught me manners so rag dolling people psychologically isn’t of interest besides that I have an agenda based on developing the ballpoint pen art movement unlike others.
My new site is about six months old or new. Ask ArtWanted if it took longer than that to get their infrastructure or bell’s and whistles correct. Incidentally AW has about the best HTML, bells and whistles or extra special features of all the other forums on the WWW. They’re still taking in new idea’s or suggestions because up grading our sites or artworks is in part the real deal. If you’re green behind the ears you should think of producing a site that way things get done just right!
In the past six months I’ve posted about seven thousand different items at my main site or year old blog. That doesn’t count my research, organizing, editing, prep or business practices. I now have eight hundred different ballpoint pen artists published on my main site or about 4,220 drawings. Needless to say that takes a lot of time, money or patience. Synchronizing all those materials or doing the tags is an ongoing chore or activity. However the finished product is sweet and very rewarding. (By the way, my site is not a membership site.)
You know, ArtWanted now has 20,000 active members plus much more than a hundred thousand pictures published. It’s took them about ten years to pull together what they currently have published which is a great accomplishment. They’re helping thousands of others and producing art history in the process just like me. They have a very open forum so that many art forms get published while I’m specializing in on one new art medium, Ball Point Pen Art. We’re both producing art history in our own ways folks.
What are you doing to promote ballpoint pen art is my question to you?
