It is just past midnight...I woke up on the couch, where my sleeping pill (TV) did a job on me! I have a feeling the crapperoo from the West is heading this way, cause there is rain and a bit of wind outside. Sure hope this doesnt get worse. Heading for bed. Stay warm Terry and out of the snow ;-))

Few years ago hurricane Gordon shaked us. A branch (600 Kg) from a pine tree fell down just in the place where my car was five minutes before (my wife inside) while I was opening that fence. Luckily only a wall broke.

Today at Canary Islands: wind: 200 Km/h.

It's a CICLOGENESIS ESPONTANEA (=METEOROLOGICAL BOMB). Tomorrow in the noon we'll have it over our heads here, in Galicia. Expected wind: 160 Km/h.

Let's pray...

It's certainly unusual weather for Florida Minerva.. How's this weather effecting the fruit crops down there???

Terry Bassett 26 Feb 2010

Keep safe Armando.. I expect that's going to make a lot of mess as it passes through..

Beatrix Jahn 26 Feb 2010

Wow, Dibujante ------- sounds terribel! I sure hope the people on the island are ok, and that you and your family will be safe and without much problems or damage! I get antsy with just 70 km winds here...even then trees get knocked down. This world weather is getting nuttier by the day!!! Be safe, amigo!!!
