Well the lay out seems to be very good but the choice of colour for the background doesn't seem appropriate for an artist's site. Grey doesn't really do it for me. It makes the site dreary and old fashioned. I feel it needs a more definite colour. Black for drama, blue or red for example......but grey????

We are an artist's site and the design should reflect that. Well, that's what I think anyway!

AW, What Sharon said is absolutely right, you need to correct this problem.

AW WHY CAN WE ONLY HAVE 10 ARTIST GROUPS THAT WE JOINED SHOW UP AT THE TOP OF THE ARTIST GROUPS? ONE OF MINE DROPPED OFF EVEN THOUGH I AM A MEMBER OF IT. IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL TO HAVE ALL THE GROUPS WE ARE IN BE AT THE TOP SO WE CAN CHECK IN NOW & THEN IN AN EASY FASHION. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

ArtWanted.com Staff 19 Jul 2008

We have updated the groups page to show all of the groups that you belong to, not just the first 10.

Kathleen Struckle 20 Jul 2008

Thank you AW for all the wonderful improvements.

AW THANK YOU ABOUT HAVING ALL GROUPS AT THE TOP OF THE GROUP SECTION. :-) .............................................................................. I TRIED MY PRTSCN BUTTON, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED, AND I HAVE LOOKED AT THE SITE YOU GAVE AND CAN'T SEE WHICH PROGRAM YOU MIGHT BE TALKING ABOUT. HOWEVER, I CAN TELL YOU THAT ALL MY MANAGE ARTWATCH BLUE LINES DO NOT WORK...REMOVE, PORTFOLIO, AND VIEW THE NAMES. WHAT I SEE IF I PUT MY MOUSE OVER ANY OF THESE BLUE LINES IS THE ARROW...JUST LIKE YOU SEE IF YOU PUT THE MOUSE OVER ANY BLACK LINE. THE "HAND" THAT SHOULD SHOW WHEN YOU CLICK A LINE, DOES NOT SHOW, AND YOU CAN CLICK FROM NOW UNTIL TOMORROW AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. REALLY A PHOTO OF WHAT I JUST DESCRIBED WILL SHOW YOU NOTHING MORE. THERE IS A PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. THE MANAGE ARTWATCH SECTION IS TOTALLY USELESS TO ME UNTIL THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. SO PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE FIX IT. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Sharon Gonzalez 20 Jul 2008

PS AW.....BY THE WAY THE LINK YOU GAVE ME ABOVE TO SEE MY ARTWATCH LIST...WELL NONE OF THE BLUE LINES ON THAT LIST WORK EITHER. I'VE FAVORITED THAT URL SO THAT I CAN AT LEAST SEE THE LIST. AND THE LINES ARE ACTUALLY A TURQUOISE.

Velle Gosselin 20 Jul 2008

Love the new look! It's even easier to navigate :)

annette steens 20 Jul 2008

Wonderful site AW! Congrats it looks fine! xo from Norway, annette

Sharon Gonzalez 20 Jul 2008

OK AW....I HAVE TAKEN 3 PHOTOS WITH MY CAMERA. THE FIRST ONE SHOWS THE MOUSE OVER THE "VIEW THE LIST" TURQUOISE LINE. NOTE THE ARROW; "NOT" THE HAND! ALSO NOTE THAT THE NUMBER OF ARTWATCH PEOPLE IS DIFFERENT THAN THE LINK YOU SENT. ................................................................. .......................................................................... THE 2ND PHOTO HAS THE MOUSE OVER THE "REMOVE" TURQUOISE LINE. NOTE THE ARROW; "NOT" THE HAND. I COULD CLICK ON THIS THE SAME AS ANY BLACK LINE UNTIL DOOMSDAY AND NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. .................................... ........................................................................... THE 3RD PHOTO HAS THE MOUSE OVER THE PAINTING. NOTE THE ARROW; "NOT" THE HAND. I COULD TAKE A FOURTH PHOTO IF YOU WOULD LIKE OF THE MOUSE OVER THE "PORTFOLIO" TURQUOISE LINE. ................................................................. ......................................................................... PLEEEEASE FIX! PLEASE! THANK YOU.

Sharon Gonzalez 20 Jul 2008

Here's 2nd photo. As explained above.

Sharon Gonzalez 20 Jul 2008

AND HERE'S THE 3RD PHOTO. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE A 4TH WITH THE MOUSE OVER THE PORTFOLIO TURQUOISE LINE. PLEASE FIX THIS! THANK YOU.

Thanks for the literal 'screen shots'. :-)

We will look into this to find out why your computer is not registering these links as an actual link.

Armando Salas 20 Jul 2008

The same as Sharon in my case, AW Staff.

Jo Glasscock 20 Jul 2008

kudos the the staff at Artwanted....I love the new upgrades to the site...keep up the good work

Sharon Gonzalez 20 Jul 2008

AW I AM WILLING TO BET THAT IT'S NOT JUST MINE AND ARMANDO'S COMPUTERS THAT ARE NOT REGISTERING YOUR LINKS IN THE MANAGE ARTWATCH SECTION. I'LL BET A WHOLE BATCH OF AW USERS DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT THIS SECTION. AND THE ONES THAT DO AND ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AS WE ARE, ARE EITHER NOT SAYING ANYTHING OR ELSE THEY DON'T REALIZE HOW THIS SECTION SHOULD WORK. I SO APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE AND YOUR GETTING ON THIS AND CORRECTING IT. THANK YOU.

Hello AW and all my dear friends,

I agree that the old aw was fine in EVERY WAY! Being a victim of Macular Desease (degenerative eye desease, which cannot be cured) I found everything navigable and UNCOMPLICATED ........... However as a probable minority in this field of being a digital artist (the only way I could carry on being an artist...........was Via my computer with wonderful magnifying aids ........... AND giving me a NEW DIRECTION in my work) I find SO many problems with the general lay out and colours ........( other members, who have normal eyesight are having this problem too)................. I DO know you can't please everyone ALL of the time , but PLEASE DO all you can to make your site a generally friendly one (As it was, where all artists can meet, and carry on enjoying the artwork that their friends have taken the trouble to make. I have made so many DEAR FRIENDS on this site, THANKS TO YOU! AND still want to meet NEW dear friends AND want to fully communicate with them in an easy manner .............. ALSO the "history" visits do NOT change ................. ANOTHER problem!!

Hope you can help us...........................

Regards ,

Patty
