WHY WAIT TO BE DISCOVERED ? LETS TAKE A SHOT ON OUR OWN

THIS IS JUST AN IDEA I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT ,I THINK A LOT OF YOU ARE ,LIKE MYSELF WAITING AND HOPING FOR A CHANCE TO SHARE YOUR PASSIONS WITH THE WORLD . HOPING FOR THAT BIG BREAK WHEN YOUR TALENT WILL BE DISCOVERED . I SAY IF THE WORLD ISN'T COMING TO US MABY WE SHOULD GO TO THE WORLD . THERE ARE A LOT OF CREATIVE AND TALENTED PEOLE HERE AND IF SOME OF US (ONLY THOSE WHO ARE SERIOUS ABOUT DEDICATING THEMSELVES , YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE OR NOT) JOINED TOGETHER AND CREATED A MAGAZINE ( A REAL PRINTED PUBLISHED ONE ) WITH THE RIGHT PROMOTIN WE COULD MAKE OUR OWN BIG BREAK ! JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW WHERE I AM COMING FROM I AM A PERSON WHO FOLLOWS HIS DREAMS AND SO FAR I HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN ACHIEVING MY GOALS . I STARTED MY OWN BUSINESS AT 29 AND HAVE DONE WELL NOW FOR 5 YEARS . ONE OF MY LIFE GOALS .THE OTHER BEING TO DO SOMETHING WITH MY CREATIVITY . I HAVE LOTS OF IDEAS (OPEN TO MORE ) AND HAVE RESEARCHED THE PROSPECT . IF ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE IS OF A LIKE MIND AND REALLY ,I MEAN REALLY , INTERESED IN THE POSIBILITY I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU . MATT

Just one thing upfront that I should mention...money is VERY Tight...right now I'm really a true "Starving Artist"

I too am just one of thousands dreaming and hoping of the chance to at least get my foot in the door. As with the previous poster though, money is tight and therefore hindering my chances of exposure.

i know where your coming from.i feel the same way.i'm busting my butt to get my art noticed.i've tried my hand at the graphic novel part,also a small self published comic book.and i have had some of my art displayed in a hot rod magazine.but i feel thats not enough.i relly do think us like minded artists should get together and create something rockin' you can e mail me at [email protected] with ya later.

Well, I'm think that's a good Idea. i myself am trying to make art a business where we all can make a living on doing what we love most. I just started a month ago. But already sponsoring people. So I would have a lot of artwork from others as well as my own to put in your magazine.

I agree with you Matt I became unemployed and have been thinking a lot about what I want to do. I would like to get my photography out there but don't really know how to go about it.
