Introducing Widget Jr!

ArtWanted.com is proud to announce the birth of Widget Junior!

Due to the popularity of the original ArtWanted.com Widget, and some of your feedback, we have created an all new widget for our members. The new ArtWanted.com Widget is just like the first, but with several new features. Here is a quick list...

1) SMALLER SIZE

The new Widget Jr. is 250x275 pixels, making it about 1/2 the size of the original Widget, but with all the same features. This size makes it perfect for showing one image at a time, and fits on a few websites better than the original widget.

2) DUAL DISPLAY MODES

The new Widget Jr. has two ways to display your images. The first is a SCROLLING display that slides one image into the screen at a time. The second display mode is FADE, which will fade in and out of your images. When you copy the HTML code, you can specify with display mode you prefer. Below is an example of the 'fade' display mode. The scrolling mode is displayed at the top of this post.

3) BACK & NEXT BUTTONS

For those people that want to advance quickly through your widget images, they can click the back and next arrows on the sides of the artwork. By clicking these buttons, you no longer need to wait for each image to load if you want to see the next images by that artist.

4) WIDGET STATISTICS

With this version, we have also added statistics tracking to your widget. You can check your ArtWanted.com members area for statistics on how many clicks your Widget is generating for you. We have also added stats to the original widget as well.

We hope you enjoy Widget Jr. along with these new features. You can get the HTML code for this new Widget on the 'Promote This Artist' link found on the main portfolio page of any ArtWanted.com artist. Enjoy!

I do not believe that it automatically changes on your site as my original widget is the same size~ Where is the new smaller HTML located? Thanks much!

MySpace has special code that blocks external links from leaving their site. Because of this, when the widget is uploaded to MySpace, they disable all of the links. You can still display the images, but they don't link back to your portfolio.
