Original Post: Are the Art Contests going to open for voting?

It seems like there is some trouble getting the contests open for voting on time. The contests give activity points for every vote and comment and it can give artist who are in the middle of projects that extra little boost to get onto or stay on the top 25 list. It's just frusterating. What's the point of adding the open for voting date, if it's just going to be open for voting...sometime....?
