Why not look for Giclee Techs around the country and source the jobs to them? This should help with distribution and if they are licensed to handle prints they might supply to galleries in their area.

For the buyer, this could be a real treat to be able to go pick up their item close by.

Why I think of this is a strange event I had happen recently. I had to fill an order for a print, the client suggest an online printer. I followed their suggestion, but only to find out within a few hours that a print could have been made less than 2 miles from the client's office. They had looked online the same as any trusting soul and had then to wait 5 days to have the print shipped.

The quality was good, but the timing was poor.

Original Post: Who is the best online printing provider?

As we continue to look into the possibility of offering a new online printing service for our members, we would like to know which website(s) you have used in the past and who is the best service provider in your opinion.

We have a list of over 100+ online printing providers (ie SnapFish, Kodak Gallery, PhotoWorks, WinkFlash, etc.) and we want to know where you go to get prints of your artwork/photos. Tell us who you use and why, and you can also let us know which providers to avoid and why. Thanks!
