Last year I was awarded. I received no money for the calendars Art Wanted sold. I couldn't receive even a copy of the calendar. I am really dissapointed with Art Wanted.

ArtWanted.com is excited to announce that we are now accepting entries for the 2009 Daily Art Calendars! As a member of our site, you can submit artwork for these calendars without any entry fees and have a chance to be spotlighted in these upcoming calendars.

The ArtWanted.com Daily Art Calendar is now in it's fifth year of production. These great calendars showcase beautiful artwork from hundreds of our members and each year we strive to make them even better. We gathered some great feedback from our members and here is a list of upgrades to the calendars for 2009:

2009 CALENDAR IMPROVEMENTS:

1. Entry deadline has been pushed up by two months, to get the calendars out way before the start of the new year.
2. Every US order will be shipped via Priority Mail to greatly speed up the shipping times.
3. Every order within the US will be sent a tracking number for delivery tracking/confirmation.
4. Real-time preview of your calendar page when your artwork is submitted.
5. New calendar themes to allow for more artist submissions.

2009 CALENDAR THEMES:

For 2009, we will have three unique calendar themes. Each calendar will contain 365 tear-off pages from artists on our site, for a total of 1,095 unique artwork/photography entries. Here are the categories:

• Traditional Artwork (paintings, drawings and other traditional mediums of all subjects)
• Digital Artwork (digital illustrations, 3D renderings and digital paintings of all subjects)
• Photography (traditional & digital photos from our members)

CALL FOR ENTRIES:

We are now accepting entries for each of the three calendars. Members may submit up to three images, one for each calendar. Artwork for the 2009 calendars will be selected by our staff in August from all the entries received. There is no entry fee to submit your artwork, so there is no reason why every member should not try and submit at least one image. The deadline for all submissions is July 31st, 2008.

CALENDAR PRE-ORDERS:

For those that would like to be the first to receive your calendar, you can also pre-order a copy of the calendar(s). As a special bonus for your pre-order, you will be guaranteed at least one page in the 2009 calendar and also be able to select the date your page will be featured on. 2008 CALENDAR BLOW-OUT:

For those that are interested, we still have a few 2008 calendars remaining. We have slashed the price to only $2.95 each for this closeout. We enjoy creating these calendars every year, because it gives our members an additional opportunity for exposure to new art fans.
