Hello Gary long time no seen on the site. I hope you are well... I am glad you joined the thread and remember Armando Salas, who made cartoons to so many people. I think we should remember him and remind him. Some perhaps did not know him here.. plus the AW site changed too much, I am sorry for that. I would expect some more people to join us here... I think he should be honored especially here, where he was active few years and contributed much to the AW community. I have some of his cartoons saved yet packed until after we fix our appartment.. with also tribute I made for him. Luckily I have several artworks of him, that could be found easily... I felt I wanted to remember more of his cartoons... Indeed the cartoon he made for you, is FUN, I must say... like to so many of us. I post here a cartoon, he made using my Textile Designs... Fun too :-) Stay healthy and safe.

Original Post: ARMANDO SALAS - RIP

Dear Armando, as I found out, "Better Late Than Never" Theses heavy days, the era of COVID19, Time, When there is too much sadness in the whole entire world. I can't imagine the world, especially this time without you, in it, your creativity. I can imagine though the cartoons, you may create in this terrible situation. I am very sorry you left the world, too soon. June 30, 2019.. Just before the world crisis. I found out about a year after you died, while Google search. Many will miss your art & especially cartoons, including myself.

Warm Thoughts and my sincere condolence with Armando's family: His wife, Dity. His daughter Gloria. His son, Armando Junior And especially the Granson, Christian, that will grow up to be a fine cartoonist such as his grandfather, . RIP, Armando.... Watch us from above and continue your work, in a better safer place. Here I found an artical about Armando, a day after he died. It is in Spanish, but can be translated.
