I am not concerned about my ratings. What I did not want to do is to turn anyone off from exploring art. After all, we all started as a beginnner and grew from there. In my opinion, no one is ever a perfect artist, well maybe long after they will ever know about it. LOL Art is something I want to encourage everyone to do. It's great therapy and if we make some $ along the way we are flattered. If our bubble is burst we may give up and will never know where we could have gone.

I can take constructive critique and welcome it. It will help me to grow as an artist.

Original Post: Question on rating

Just wondering how you are suppose to rate? Are there categories for beginner, professional, etc.?

If I look at a beginner and say for where they are this is a 10, but look at a professional and say whoa not up to par with other professional or that persons previous work, would a 10 be fair?

Also, if I know nothing about what makes a good say photo, do I rate it because I like it or what?

Seems to me that there should be additional categories or something.

I am new here, so if this has been previously answered, please excuse me.
