Thats very true, there are countless people on ebay selling just fairy artwork, its very popular! Since i focus more on dragons my competition there is actually quite low, its surprising there arnt more artists there auctioning dragon artwork, but that works out for me!
I have found that all the artist on ebay that sell fairy artwork on ebay and do well definitely have their own unique style and are very developed in skill with it. So you just need to keep posting your artwork, getting exposure and perfecting your skills in an original way.
Jasmine Becket-Griffith (aka Strangeling) would be the first to tell you that it takes time to build up a fan base and start to be recognized, as far as ebay goes, the more popular you become the more your peices will naturally end at a higer price.
Last week I finished this painting (see below) and personally I think it's one of my best, or at least I like it best out of all my works. I have it on Ebay (starting bid 20$) but no one is bidding on it. Is 20$ to high? Is it not good enough to sell. What can I do to improve it so it will be more appealing to buyers. Please please help. I am getting so depressed that no one wants to bid on it. (sorry for sounding arrogant)
