Triffids are delicious, I think they have pigs find them. Wait, that's tribbles. I don't really see triffids (the alien plant), unless it's when they spray those spores in your face. I do, however, appreciate the look the triffids inspired here. It's fun, and not simplistic.

It looks like you had a definate thought here, and went with it. It would do good in a collection of similar high-detail abstracts.

Original Post: Inspired by The day of the Triffids

I had seen the film years ago and thought it was a bit silly. However I recently listened to a radio play of the book by John Wyndham and was totally inspired. What a fantastic book! This inspiration resulted in the creation two large abstract paintings Triffids1 and Triffids2 I love this quote from the book. “And we danced, on the brink of an unknown future, to an echo from a vanished past.” ?
