I've been painting for about 15 years. Mostly I have picked up tricks on my own by trial and error. I try to make my works look real and life-like.
Gary Thomas is the gentleman who is commissioned each year to paint the new enshrinees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductions. His paintings are always next to the players' busts. He gave me a few small tips once, but I've never really had formal art training. I think his work is absolutely incredible.
Your insight, criticism, suggestions ..whatever, are completely welcomed. Please fell free to be as honest and as blunt as you want. My goal is to become a better artist.
