Having quickly scanned through the replies, I do't think anyone has confirmed for you that the Sony DSLRs do accept Minolta AF lenses. I use a Sony alpha 700 camera, and my lenses include some Minolta lenses (50/1.7, 24-85 zoom, and 100-300 zoom)

i have used an old minolta 7000 for soooooo many years. developing is expensive but i find the shots sharper !! what kind of digital slr should i get to achieve the same results ? i would want zoom lenses too. there is that cost factor as i dont have lots to spend having kids etc...
