Original Post: The Little Sound

As I lay to sleep the night surrounding me a little sound from outside came disturbing my focus to sink into bedtime dreams. What was that sound? A little critter ready to pounce? A fallen stick that hit the ground? Never mind, I must unwind. I focused again the darkness behind my eyelids.
