DESCRIPTION: Macro Photography is the art of taking 'close-up' pictures of small things. There is no specific 'subject' for this contest, just make sure you show a great close-up of your subject material. Insects and flowers are popular macro subjects, but be creative and let's see what you can do. Check out the MacroPhotography.org gallery for ideas and sample macro photographs. This contest is only for photographs, you will find another contest for artwork. Submit your macro photo and you could be our next contest winner - good luck!

RULES: Only photographs for this contest, no artwork. Photos must not be digitally altered or composed, they must be taken from a camera. Only one entry per person. You must be the original photographer. You must comply with the contest theme.

PRIZES: The 1st place winner of the contest can pick an item from the ArtWanted.com prize pack and will be displayed on our home page for a week. The top 4 winners will be entered in our monthly drawing for a $50 prize.
