Well, this part of Dante's Hell doesn't have alot of fire. Actually, the only place I can think of right off where there's fire is The Burning Sands, where fire rains on the Sodomites, while they all circle each other like greek wrestlers.

Original Post: Critique my progress

I've been working the last year or so with combining painting, pen and pencil, watercolor pencils, ink washes, and digital media. I was just wanting some critique of what I'm doing so far. This piece shows a passage from Dante's Inferno. The thieves in hell are punished by having nothing, even their own bodies, sacrosanct. The snakes are other thieves who are attacking him, melting into his body, and as his body disappears and becomes serpentlike, they become human.
