Original Post: WIP... Can you see the Triton?

Started this a while back and decided to finish it... maybe...still working on him, but he's stubborn..lol

I have a propensity for dark colors and lots of shadows that while comes out fine in print and looks ok on my monitors, I've learned sometimes render much to dark for detail in my AW portfolio.

So as part of my fiddling around activities, I thought to try to get some kind of idea of whether or not this image was coming up too dark here for comfortable viewing at it's present resolution and contrast.

I expect to lose some detail, but if all goes ok, you'll see at very least, a shadowy longish haired puplish guy holding a trident with some fish behind him.
