My name is Miracle Adkins. I am a 32 year old single mom from Michigan. I have a degree in fine arts/illustration. I am passionate about art and life. I love working with just about any medium I can get my hands on and experimenting with new innovative ways to display my art. Like a lot of people, I am on a tight budget and sometimes I can't really afford canvas, so I began going to second hand store and dollar stores looking for things that were inexpensive to paint my artwork on. Since then, I have sold a lot of my work on ebay to various places around the world and I continue to sell things at art festivals and anywhere that I get the opportunity. This has really became a full time career and business for me. I encourage everyone to try decorative painting-- not only is it environmentally friendly because you can take things that other people would otherwise throw out and turn it into a beautiful piece of art that someone will desire to have. Truly, I have found that decorative painting embraces the " one man's trash is another man's treasure" adage!
