I just attended a four day workshop with the San Antonio Watercolor Group conducted by Warren Taylor from Midland Texas. It was a great watercolor workshop with emphasis on adding texture and interest to still life paintings. He does some beautiful work. I will post a few of my paintings on this site that I did at the workshop as soon as they are in a finished state.
I have attended many workshops and there are a few instructors I would advise you to avoid, Betsy Dillard Stoud writes great articles and books but is a lousy workshop instructor and the same goes for Tony Couch who is more interested in selling his books and tapes and paintings than helping students.
