What can I say about myself? Born in Manhattan, NYC, and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, lived in Florida and recently now I live in South Carolina, maybe my husband and I should get a trailer and continue our journey...must follow the leader which is my husband Rene..I like change I don't like packing...anyway, I have three handsome men, three beautiful daughter-in-laws and six grandchildren: four boys and two girls. When I was a child I loved to draw and I thought I had a good combination of colors on my drawing paper but sometimes as parents we really do not pay much attention to the gifts our children have...this is very important, maybe their gift is music, dance, who knows, just don't miss out on it.. as I grew up I took interest in other arts, like dancing for the King...this is Worhship expressed with hand motions and the body for our Living God which I continue to practice and enjoy very much. I worked as a pre-school teacher in Florida where I had to do my own bulletin board and a few others and started to draw themes which to my surprise were just beautiful..my husband sent me to a drawing course which was good but too short...well one day one of my church friends asked me to make a banner for the Women's Conference and it was so amazing, I knew God had to be behind all of this, I had never painted a Lion before on silk fabric...this one will be uploaded as soon as my church friend sends me pictures of it...anyway it was gorgeous, to be God be the Glory.. so ever since I have been just playing with the pencil and paint brushes and feeling good about what I am doing. I also write poems, and again just a beginner in this, but if you want to read them.. they are not long and easy to read and understand...go to Poetry.com and add my name as: Santiago de Malave, Naomi and also rate them if possible, "Someone is Praying For You" came in as a semi-finalist...well, this wasn't so bad...thank you AW for this vision of bringing out the gift within all us...Keep up the good work members...
