Stuart Johnson is a self-taught artist and has lived in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK. all of his life. Most of the ideas for his paintings are intuitive, and improvised.... the idea is basically primitive expression... that simple. Many times I do not have any preconceived ideas, I just put paint to canvas, and see what develops. All I know is, I love working with all the colours, tones, textures, and especially the abstract elements that go into my paintings...
