Turgut Demir was born in Ankara in 1975.He started his professional career at the age of 18 as a comic artist. Between 1993 and 2004 he contributed newspapers and magazines in Turkey,including Girgir,Avni, Solak-Soytari and Ustura Mag, Bursa Haber, Bursa 2000, Bursa Hakimiyet Newspaper. In 2001,with his brother Feridun Demir publishing KLE MAGAZINE (www.kledergi.com)He is a member of the Turkey Cartoonist Asamble.
