Where do I start.... mmm well I live in Hervey Bay QLD, Australia with my two teenage children. I have been studying and practicing art for about four years now, and have only recently gotten up the courage to put my work 'out there' for all to see. Unlike some of the lucky artists out there, I can't create a work of art at the drop of a hat (though my mind never stops creating!), I suppose the reason for that is mainly lack of confidence but well, I'm getting there. It just makes the pieces that I have successfully created more special to me. I suppose I see myself as a contemporary artist with more of a lean towards abstract and figurative works, and I especially love working with mixed media, and even better, getting my hands dirty! Who needs a brush LOL! I'm excited about becoming apart of AW, there is some absolutely amazing art on this website that is truly inspiring. Cheers 4 now, Kimmi.
