Originally from New York I now live in North Carolina where I create art in my tiny home studio surrounded by my numerous rescue kitties. My love of art began as a small child watching my grandfather paint, the smell of linseed oil and turpentine always filled his studio which was originally a garage. I learned almost all I know about art from him as well as a couple of classes in college--I am what you might call a"self-taught artist". I spend my days creating artwork, taking care of cats and trying to find the beauty in the dark, strange and wonderfully bizarre world we live in. I sell my work in my Etsy shop as well as painting custom pet portraits from favorite photographs.
