Iryna is a Ukrainian born self-taught artist currently based in Burnaby, British Columbia.
She is working in graphite and acrylic to realistically interpret beauty of the surrounded world and especially wildlife.
She was born in1972 in Ukrainian science oriented family. Even if Iryna followed the family tradition and graduated with a degree in cybernetic her true passion has always been art. During her youth she attended two years the Youth Palace of Art and kept drawing at every opportunity.
Iryna Nikitinska immigrated to Canada in 2002. She decided to change career and finally follow her dream to become a full time artist. Iryna attended several classes, seminars and workshops with established artist such as Jack Turpin, Golnar Sepahi, Amanda Jones, Nihal Kececi just to name a few.
Iryna’s love for nature can be seen in all of her works. She continues to strive for excellence by attending more seminars and practicing her art everyday.
In March 2010 Iryna Nikitinska became an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
Iryna's artwork is now seen at various shows in the galleries of GreatVancouver.
