"Azteca, Meztisa, Mexicana" is my interepretation of the Mexican American woman. Azteca representing the Aztec roots, tribal, cultural, depicted by the crown of feathers; Meztisa is represented by the different skin colors on her; Mexicana is represented by the colors of the Meixan Flag on her hands holding two guns which represent the Mexican Revolutionary War. The different colors throughout the piece represent the Cultural Diversity of the United States....." Azteca, Meztisa, Mexicana".
