Wow! I love your collages. They are exciting! How do you do these?
Artist Reply: Hi Vicky, Thx for your compliments. In fact this is also my favuorite ( also the Fests day in Japan.); yet this " sailing to Africa is the most difficult one among them-cos its the simplest ---n the diffulty is the most. For doing it :- I imagined movements -which give the idea of moving . Therefore, I crecated all those movements in the sky which give depth n at the same time look like thousands of sails. Modestly, the success of this Collage is the depth n movements created on a flat sheet of paper ; adding few Africans---I give the title of " Sailing to Africa " . Could be sailing to China, Japan etc., etc. when you change the nation, cos what dominated this is the movements n sails. I suppose you've done Collages ( cos . there 're many kinds.) As for me, I usually create the drawing : - then I 'll look for the colours n tones that are necessary to create the atmosphere of theme;at the end you 've to be very careful of the whole colour scheme. Anyway , Vicky I 'm sure you know al that already as you're an Artist yourself. Right ? Thanks again. Love, Bick Yue.
