Nira, metukonet, you have touched my soul, I like you am drawn to the water.. I love to go "down to the river" like the song said (and I LOVE that song, ever since I was a young girl) and watch the water, boats, birds, people..etc. And your colourful photo with the lovely boats makes me want to jump into one of those boats and sail away! Thank you for making my day so extra special with your song and beautiful photo! Neshikot, hibukim rabim!! :o)

Artist Reply: Dear metuka, Les.. THANKS A LOT! I'm glad you enjoyed this post of mine.. This place, I used to visit a lot during my childhood and adolescence.. it has a lot of significance for me. When I thought of boats, this song came immediately to my mind. The BEST, "Thing" that happen to me in English lesson, in high - school was 4 songs that we learned.. this is one of the four.
