May 25, 1965 Cassius Clay knocked out Sonny Liston in their second title fight. This time it was Liston as the challenger and Clay defending his belt. Neil Leifer captured one of the most enduring images of modern sport. Clay taunting Liston, “Get up sucker!” After the fight Clay announced that he was changing his name to Cassius X, later to become Mohammed Ali.
