In my current landscape series, I try to portray the luminosity of the skies, and everything they touch, painting in layers of colour. A ‘wet on wet’ technique effectively blends the acrylics, adds depth to the canvas, and evokes time and space. Lit is one of several night scenes from the Luminosity series. This piece is gallery wrapped. The colours of the painting continue over the edges of the canvas on all four sides.
