12" x 16" oil on wood panel by Kirk Larsen. A few years back on an 85 degree October 4th, I headed to Jones Beach to paint. A fellow artist, a painter named Susan Gach (daughter of George Gach) was already painting the view I sought. So I painted the other view and a pleasure it was. Giclees available - contact artist. This is one of my favorites.

What a wonderful loose style you have, Kirk! You paint the mood so beautifully!

Artist Reply: Thank you. My intention is to convey the mood and feel. It was a confluence of factors that kept this loose: 85 degrees, sunny, at the ocean, very slight breeze, great light, good subject, reflected light off the sand.
