The colors are so bold and dramatic in this Evocative landscape ! Awesome Strong and vibrant artwork !

Artist Reply: Thank you, John. The park that the falls are in feature several falls, I have painted this one twice, featuring different seasons, and a few of the smaller falls. This is the most spectacular one, though.

YEP, THERE IS IS... GUESS WE WERE BOTH STANDING IN THE "SAME" SPOT WHEN WE TOOK OUR PICTURES.. MAYBE THE SAME DAY??? I HAVE MORE PHOTOS OF THE DIFFERENT FALLS AT THE LOWER AND UPPER TAHQUAMENON FALLS AND ALSO AT PORUPINE MT. FALLS ALSO. HOPE TO DO SOME MORE.. THEY ARE SO FUN TO PAINT.. JOANIE

Artist Reply: Wow, I had forgotten how close this one is position wise to yours. Wouldn`t it have been a scream if we were there standing a few feet apart taking photos to paint from. lol

Soooo gorgeous, Joan!! Your water color is stunning!!

Artist Reply: Thank you very much, Ruth, and thanks for taking the time to look. I have done 2 paintings of this particular falls, done from different angles. My son and his wife have the other one.

Look at that water: I almost can hear it falling, Joan! *Love and Light, OLGA

Artist Reply: Thank you very much, Olga. And that waterfall does roar when you are close to it. *G*
