Original watercolor painting, painted on location. NFS. I took a week-long watercolor class at Ghost Ranch, in NM, where Geogia O'Keefe lived and painted. This was the mountain, called the Cerro Pedernal, seen from the ranch. I painted it onsite, as a storm approached. As you can see, my watercolors are applied a bit heavily, probably since my medium of choice is acrylic. Going back and forth between media is always good, though, as you learn techniques in one that can be used in another.
