Work Interrupted at Rancho de Taos

Original acrylic painting on masonite, framed, 18 x 24". Digital prints also available. This is Rancho de Taos, just outside Taos, NM. It's the church that Georgia O'Keefe made famous. Not that I can compare myself to O'Keefe, but I am inspired by the same simple adobes and the light found in the Southwest. Copyrights belong to the artist.

What a gorgeous piece! It's definitely one of your most dramatic paintings. Your sense of balance & contrast is excellent, and you've done a great job with the sky. Bravo.
