This Kinchina doll is done with nothing but a #2 pencil and a jar of hair grease. I wanted to bring out the darkness and a different kind of shading in certain areas of the drawing. This was a trail and error experiment. Came out better than what I expected. I dipped the pencil in the grease and used it to slowly blend the pencil into the board. It's done on a 15x20 Crescent illustration board, medium weight. It's sprayed with Winsor & Newton Fixative for protection. I call this drawing "THE DANCE". Hope you like it!!!
